☆ 10 Year Challenge | 2019 - 2009 - 1999 | An artwork version of the 10 Year Challenge I guess! As I happened across the 1999-2009 version in my DA gallery the other day - so this is actually a 20 year version!
Instead of just redrawing I wanted to reflect the different choices I would make now with outfit etc...I hope I've improved somewhat in this time, although while drawing this I felt a bit like I haven't much for the last 10 years ^^''' There's a lot more to work on.
(Drawing sparkly catsuits in my new favourite thing .;*☆ *_* )

Here are the older versions:
Artwork commissions are re-opened finally!
For the first time in a long time I have opened all types of commissions, from comic/manga style character art to caricature commissions and ACEO cards.
You can see the full range here, or check out the links under 'shop' in the menu.

It's March & I've had enough of winter now, so of course I end up drawing a very summery picture with my OC, Minnie!
So, I had sketched this & then I decided to use the picture for my new commission info. I scanned the inks + then printed them out so I had two copies. The second image is my layered ('cell shaded' like) marker colouring style (which I did on the print out, since that wouldn't smudge the ink as much) & the third is my fully blended, mixed media colouring style, which is a lot softer but nicer.
This isn't the usual way I'd do things - if I am going to be colouring a picture, especially in a very blended style or with mixed media I will lay off the heavy/thick inking until after I've coloured. This way there is less chance of smudging the artwork! (& going over your marker colouring with thicker ink lines means you can sneakily fix up any marker bleed...)
INKS | Fineliners + brush pen
SECOND DRAWING | Pro markers + Sharpie marker + triplus pens + white ink (I did blend the sky a little in this case)
THIRD DRAWING | Lots of different marker brands + pencil crayons + triplus pens + white ink
🍄 Forest Princess | Markers + white ink + pencil crayon + photoshop bg
This is another work from earlier this year - April…
I’ll make prints available when I next do a print order!
❤ An older piece from the start of the year

(Uploading older artwork from earlier this year - I think this was somewhere around Easter but not sure!)
Just some inking of a punky princess accompanied with gold acrylic marker ~ 👑
During April I did the drawing challenge #adventureapril on Instagram using characters from my webcomic, Legion of Kats!:
I quite often draw little cartoon 'self portraits' to go on various websites I use - thought I would collect them in one place!

Happy New Year all! Here's a hopeful magical unicorn girl who just kinda happened while I was away visiting family, I didn't intend it as my new year picture but it kind of has a wishful feeling that works :)
Super thanks to my watchers/followers & friends for all your support in 2017! It really does mean a lot to me that people take the time to encourage me with my art. I have a bunch of things planned for 2018 so I hope you will stick around & join me :) I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with too!
I hope that 2018 will be a great year for everyone!

A series of commissions I did back in 2011 - These are client's own original characters with a spray of flowers in the background, or items, that suit their personality.
These were all made with markers + various gel ink pens, then edited in Photoshop for a 'cut out' paper effect on a flat colour background.
These were a lot of fun to make, so I will likely offer them as commissions again one day!
These were a commission type I offered for a while from 2013-2014 - They are a great deal of fun to do so I will likely offer them again one day!
They are simple, character art images featuring an original multi-patterned outfit in single flat colours. The character art was drawn traditionally & marker coloured with a flat colour background in Photoshop.
It all started with four pictures I made of my own original characters for fun:
